WorkMap

Terms of use

Last updated November 6, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Dalyn Butler, the operator of WorkMap (“WorkMap”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them and to the community guidelines. The in-app End User Licence Agreement repeats the parts that matter most.

1. Who can use WorkMap

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done with your account.

2. What WorkMap is — and is not

3. Your content

You own the photos, text and other content you post. You give WorkMap a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit it as needed to run the service. You must have the right to post everything you post. You must not post content that is illegal, infringing, sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that reveals someone else’s private information. See the community guidelines.

4. Objectionable content and abuse — zero tolerance

WorkMap filters photos and messages automatically, lets anyone report a job, user or message, lets anyone block anyone, and reviews reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, hide jobs, suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion and without notice for breaking these terms or the guidelines. Users who are blocked by you cannot see your jobs, profile or messages, and you cannot see theirs.

5. WorkMap Pro

WorkMap Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple’s App Store: $14.99 per month or $119 per year, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices may vary by region. Pro members appear first among offers with the same rating band; this is disclosed to consumers in the app. The Pro badge means “Pro member”. It does not mean verified.

6. Acceptable use

No spam, no scams, no soliciting off-platform to avoid the guidelines, no scraping, no automated posting, no attempts to break or probe the service, no impersonation, no posting jobs that are illegal or unsafe.

7. Safety

Meeting people from the internet carries risk. Read the safety tips. You are responsible for your own safety, for checking a pro’s credentials, and for complying with laws that apply to the work.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

WorkMap is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkMap and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss, injury, property damage, or dispute arising from work arranged through WorkMap, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid WorkMap in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify WorkMap and its operator against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or work you arranged through it.

10. Termination

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Sections 2, 3, 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app beyond refunds as allowed by the App Store terms.
